The Grade 1 Event DRAGON GRAND PRIX GERMANY is going to change its venue this year. After four successful years of the Hanseatic Lloyd Dragon Grand Prix Germany in Kiel the next regatta is held from July 11 to 14, 2010 in Boltenhagen, North East of Travemuende (Baltic Sea). Located on a peninsula, the resort of “Weiße Wiek Boltenhagen”, with an overall area of 118.000 m², constitutes a great place for a high-class Dragon event. The 4.5 star highly comfortable Iberotel Boltenhagen and the family-friendly apartments of Dorfhotel Boltenhagen offer special rates for Dragon Sailors – available for early advance bookings. The place is truly unique and one of a kind in Northern Europe. The major German yacht club, the well-known NORDDEUTSCHER REGATTA VEREIN has been contracted for the on water organisation. That gives NRV a wonderful chance to honour Harro Kniffka`s great heritage, which he gave to the dragon fleet in the past years. The founder of the Hanseatic Lloyd and NRV member iniitiated the DRAGON GRAND PRIX GERMANY in 2006. 

On the left side navigation you can find the Notice of Race and the Entry Form. To make this regatta easy to attend we kindly ask you to fill in the Entry Form completely. As a special service for the participants the Marina Boltenhagen will provide free berthing and trailer parking prior to and after the event. Therefore we kindly ask you for your anticipated dates of arrival and departure with your boat. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact us. We are pleased to help you.

Besides offering superb sailing conditions on the Baltic Sea, we are planning a range of social events. At this stage we especially invite you to the Dragon Night on Saturday evening.
